Another is for the battery pack auto-balance function,it means while I connect two pcs,or three pcs battery in parallel, then we can see may one battery is in charging and another battery is in discharging because they are getting better consistency for their charging/discharge to the system.So the BMS has such kind of functions, we conclude for five aspects:
