On April 12, April 15, I watched a television interview with the mayor of Enshi about the Alberta elections.
What impressed me was that his comment was that if a provincial leader could provide tax subsidies to businesses, we would not be free to tower or close the business.
While I agree that many of the things that happen in Calgary are beyond the control of local politicians, it is very short-lived --
We can do more things in our city.
Before the mayor starts looking for ways to cut the inflated city budget spending, we will never really improve the status quo.
I'm tired of the complaints from Calgary.
In the winter, it was because they were given a ticket for not moving during the snow road ban, and in the spring, because they were given a ticket for not moving during street cleaning.
Snow needs plows and gravel needs to be swept.
I live in Beltline in high rise apartment.
Our park was cleaned several times a year, which meant that 50 cars either hit the street or stopped somewhere else from 9 to 5.
Somehow we managed to do this, even though our roadside was occupied by cars coming to Park from burbs so their drivers could walk to the city center without paying for parking.
So you have to find a place to park for a day and deal with it!
I think there is a garage and driveway in the house.
