Use unique power
Last week, a team of students at Victoria University won the U. S.
Design, build and race Hybrid
Formula One racing.
A team of nine students from UVic was announced on Thursday as the winner of the 13 annual formula mixing contest, which is annually engineered by Thayer, Dartmouth College, New Hampshire
Before announcing the winner, 35 teams designed, built and completed a series of tests and timed tests.

A student in mechanical engineering and a leader of the UVic team said that Victoria motor used capacitors to store electricity while other entries used lithium-ion batteries.
The mechanical energy of the hybrid system is provided by the 250cc motorcycle engine.
McColm says the biggest advantage of UVic is that the capacitor is lighter in weight
Compared to lithium, system-basedion batteries.
Basically, UVic cars have more power per unit of quality than competitors.
"In order to get as much power out as possible, we don't need to be that heavy," he said in a telephone interview on Friday somewhere in Connecticut, in which UVic cars were shipped back to Victoria.
Team members and cars are expected to return home by Thursday.
This is the fifth time UVic has entered a team.
This is also the second win for UVic.
It was the first time in 2016.
Doug Fraser, a research engineer at Dartmouth College and one of the founders of the Formula Hybrid race, said the race originated with some bickering between car designers.
Previously, an organization called the Association of Automotive Engineers held an annual competition for students to establish an open
Wheel racing based on motorcycle engine.
These cars will be judged based on several categories, including fuel efficiency, safety and noise.
Dartmouth is trying to get into a hybrid, Fraser said.
But SAE believes that the hybrid system provides too many advantages and disqualifies all hybrid systems.
So Dartmouth just started competing for its own hybrid.
Since then, Dartmouth has continued to be eligible for a hybrid because it offers students a variety of engineering challenges, Fraser said.
Mechanical engineer must cooperate
Design with electrical engineer.
"We don't have hybrid cars because we think the design will be the answer to tomorrow's traffic problem," he said . ".
"But it's an engineering challenge for students and it's very effective.
Mccorm said he and his team have a great opportunity to meet with other teachers in New Hampshire, take their advice and share stories with other teams.
Also received a letter from a professional automotive engineer
From Chevrolet this year-
Who judged the car and helped decide the winner.
He also believes that UVic's entries were completed with attention to the details of many other competitors failing to compete.
One thing, however, is that the UVic team gave up its vehicle, which is its own name.
"We never gave this car an interesting name," McColm said . ".
"We just called it UVH 19.
