Passengers fled in horror after an explosion on the subway at the busy central London station.
On Tuesday afternoon, a battery pack inside a section train compartment caught fire and the Tower Hill subway station was evacuated.
Officials said the small explosion was believed to have been caused by a mobile phone charger.
The station was closed before 12.
At 30 when firefighters investigated.
The image shows a battery pack that appears to have exploded on the floor of a subway carriage spewing flames and smoke.
There is a black coat or bag on the floor next to it.
Passengers on the subway gave up their luggage and coats and fled the station.
The video shows dozens of people, including children, rushing up the stairs.

The London Ambulance Service said one person had a hand injury and was treated by a caregiver at the scene.
Passenger Daniel Griggs wrote on Twitter: "Oh my God, someone's battery charger is on fire on the subway in Tashan.
"It makes adrenaline go up.
Everyone is safe.
Mali xilokoy said she was also sitting next to a man whose battery charger exploded on the subway.
She shared photos of the on-site emergency service.
The British traffic police said the incident was not considered suspicious.
A spokesman for the London Fire Brigade said: "It is reported that there was smoke on a train at the Tower Hill subway station and firefighters received an alarm.
"This is a small explosion that is believed to have been caused by a mobile phone charger.
There was no fire when the firefighters arrived.
"At 1226, the brigade was called.
Firefighters at the pier, Shoreditch and Sandwell fire stations are on site.
A spokesman for the British traffic police said: "We received a call before 12: 00.
It is reported that there is a fire alarm at Tower Hill station.
It is believed to be a fire caused by overheating of mobile phone chargers.
The incident was not suspicious.
London Ambulance Service accident response officer Andy Brown said: "We got a call at 12 today.
On the afternoon of the 28 th, the incident was reported at Tashan station.
"Our hazardous area response team, an ambulance worker and an incident response officer arrived at the scene with colleagues from Metropolitan Police and the London Fire Brigade.
"We treated a man with a hand injury at the scene, but he was not taken to the hospital.
"The Circle Line between Aldgate and Earl Court and between Aldgate and Edgware Road was suspended.
Serious delays occurred on the remaining lines.
Shortly after the 1 th, the stations and lines were reopened. 30pm.
