Kristina Koch and Anne McLean will be the first female crew to walk in space on the International Space Station.

Due to the lack of a suitable space suit, female space walks on the International Space Station.
Kristina Koch and Anne McLean will begin this historic mission on Friday.
On March 22, MacLean MS had her first space walk in her career with astronaut Nick Hague.
But the space agency said,
Female pairing has to be delayed now as there is only one medium
The space suit is available in size.
NASA added in a statement: "Koch plans to do this spacewalk with astronaut Maclean, which will be the first time --

"However, after the first spacewalk, the mission manager, after consulting with MacLean and The Hague, decided to adjust the mission, in part because of the space suit on the space station.

Friday's mission has only one on the international space station, prompting NASA to decide to wear it by Koch MS so she can start her first spacewalk in her career.

MacLean MS is a woman on the 13 th on the space walk, and Koch MS will become the 14 th.
They are all members of NASA's 2013 astronaut class, consisting of four men and four women.
NASA has replaced about half of 48 batteries with batteries that are expected to last the remaining life of the space station.
The space station uses solar panels to generate electricity, but the batteries are used when they cannot get power from the sun in the dark.
