The million Main Street revitalization fund is designed to support small town business districts, with half of the $41,453 going to Roso and the rest split between Christie, welfare and Humphrey.
The debate on grants was combined with the discussion raised earlier by Coun about the provision of public faucets in the town.
Dell graves, as Rosseau's proposal for a share of its allocation includes the installation of public water dispensers.
At its meeting on July 3, the Council considered how grant funds could be used.
That was at that meeting.
Jack Hepworth, representing Rosseau, expressed frustration when he did not make a decision that night.
The Rosseau Community Action Committee was the first council member to plan to use government grants in the spring, when staff were instructed to contact other Seguin community groups to seek other ideas on behalf of Orrville, Humphrey and Foley.
Hepworth spoke in support of Rosseau's request that a group of businesses gather in the village to become a capital-backed city center.
The Rosseau Commission hopes to use the money to make the village a destination for "cycling to Ontario.

He did this on purpose . . . . . . I shouldn't have said that, but I did it because I had enough at that time, "said Hepworth later.
"This is the main reason why I don't run (for re-election)
, I don't want to work in an environment where you will have some people who are not ready and decide to stand in the stands because there is an audience in front of the public, and confusion, there is no effective governance.
Instead of managing effectively, they manage to get people's attention.

The welfare and Entertainment Commission proposes to set up outdoor seats and roofs at the outdoor ice rink;
Orrville's Entertainment board recommends the availability of picnic tables, flagpole at Joseph Hannon Park, solar lights for community signs and Canadian-day fireworks banners.
Overall, the maximum projected cost for community projects is $44,800.
