Since posting the PowerShot sd1100 is reviewed here, Canon has released the PowerShot sd880 is.

The shooting mode is Amazon's best.
For digital cameras.
The lower number of products may mean older or less advanced models, but the camera is greatly improved compared to 1100.
There are several obvious flaws in it, but there is a reason for its popularity.
Small pocket
The size camera will take good home snapshots and vacation photos.
The photos will also make clear, large prints and online images.

The PowerShot sd880 is a fully equipped and inexpensive camera.
At the price point of the camera, the resolution of 10 pixels is impressive.
Again, 4 x zoom is very good for such a thin camera.
Canon is also continuing to improve its image stabilization and face detection techniques.
The downside is that 32 mb memory cards can be limited, but it's easy and cheap to overcome this with a larger memory card. The lithium-
Lithium-ion batteries are an unknown number.
My eco-friendly people like rechargeable batteries, but my in-house adventure visitors may like the versatility of the widely used AA battery, which is sometimes easier to find than a power outlet.
The biggest drawback is the lack of optical viewfinder.
I still find that there is greater stability in putting the camera on the eyes, and the bright LCD screen still doesn't fully compensate for the really bright sun. Value (4 out of 5)
If the cost is top priority, the PowerShot sd880 is may not be your camera.
The cheaper camera may be larger, but it may offer the same functionality in a stronger package.
On the other hand, a fair balance of cost and scale could leave buyers firmly in the sd880 camp. Design (3 out of 5)
The biggest drawback of the PowerShot sd880 may be the design.
Again, it depends on your point of view.
Canon seems to run counter to popular design trends.
While many companies are focused on more stylish, streamlined designs, canon, along with the PowerShot sd880 is, has become slightly more bulky and curvy.
It is not a symmetrical and square camera, but a more rounded one, raised on the side with controls.
It also has a larger control button on the back.
This can be more comfortable and convenient to use depending on the tastefriendly.
It may also be less attractive.
Again, it's a matter of taste, but Canon bet all its users want basic silver and gold instead of bright red, pink and blue at other points --and-
Shoot Canon models.
