The founder of Poundworld is lining up to take the top position at struggling rival Poundstretcher in an attempt to revive its wealth.
Chris Edwards sold Poundworld to US private equity firm TPG for £ 150 in 2015, and now expects him to see by reclusive Aziz brothers and Rashid towers
It is believed that the 67-year-old Edwards was first contacted last year and will move to Huddersfield headquarters next month.
He will probably take his team with him.
