The electric motorcycle is about to zero-
There are some major technological leaps in emissions heroes.
California Zero Motorcycle Company claims 2012 motorcyclesup is "game-changing".
The new features include a range of more than 180 km kilometers, a maximum speed of 114 km/h, and a battery life of nearly 500,000 km kilometers.
Compared to previous models in Australia, this is a huge leap with a range of 80 km and a maximum speed of 110 km/h.
Phil Wilkinson, Australia's Zero Motorcycle director, said the bikes were scheduled for delivery in the United States in February.
"I hope to see the bike here soon," he said . ".
"Prices have risen slightly --
However, it is difficult to ignore the value of the new bike in terms of scope, performance and ability. "Model line-
The Up includes both the S Street bike and the DS dual sport for $12,995, the MX Sport ($10,000) and the MX extreme sport ($11,000)road bikes.
S and DS will appear as variants of ZF6 (6kWh) and ZF9 (9kWh), with a premium of up to $1000, said Wilkinson.
The MX model is kept around 4kWh, but the battery capacity is almost twice that of the original.
The main improvement in range capability comes from increasing regenerative braking, which uses kinetic energy to charge the battery.
Zero also claims that no daily maintenance is required in the power system, except for the special pricenoise, low-
Maintenance belt drive.
The biggest obstacle, says Wilkinson, is battery life.
"About the customer asked about the cost of replacing the battery," he said . ".
"With the new model, you get 500,000 km of the power, so you don't need to replace the battery.
"These bikes can be 240 V/10-at standard home-
Output amplifier power supply within 4 hours;
The second charger will halve the time.
They can also insert new fast
Charging stations in some cities.

"I think we can double or even triple our sales.
The company is expanding its dealer network, says Mr Wilkinson.
