Cisco today launched a new series of HD ultra-HD and MinoHD pocket cameras in the Canadian market.
The series replaces the early flap model with a new size added to the flap-from an external microphone to a range of accessories for the waterproof housing --
Designed for flipping.
This project called "design for flip" opens the accessory market for third-party manufacturers and greatly improves the practicality of these pocket cameras.
Flip is a pioneer in pocket video, and while the iPhone 4 and other competitors' HD videos follow closely, this latest release may beat those who want to be able to adjust their camera with accessories, this is a limiting factor in flipping.
This is the new series to start selling today: flip over Ultra HD, 8 gb, 2 hours HD video, $ 220One a key feature that distinguishes this top model from other models is the new FlipPort, a port that allows you to take advantage of all the accessories designed for Flip programs, including the wireless microphone of Scotty, the battery extender of iGo and The Mikey of the blue microphone used to flip the external microphone.
I used flip in interviews and other videos and I found that the lack of an external microphone is a drawback, so flipping the port is an improvement that can overcome some problems.
I'll be interviewed at a crowded meeting, and unless this flip actually shows up on the face of the subject, it's hard to say that.
This model has rechargeable lithium.

) It also has image stability, thinner than its predecessor.
I tried the new Flip UltraHD and compared it to the video on my iPhone 4.
It was a sunny day at Kitsilano Beach, so it didn't have the challenge of low light, but it was the result of a pocket video walk: on the same road, 4: 4 GB from my iPhone, 1 hour recording time, the next one in the line does not have a FlipPort, but it does have the same hd TV connection as the two hour version, you need to flip the video HDMI mini cable to connect.
Like the whole lineup, it recorded H.

Players including Windows Media Player, QuickTime, and iTunes.
It runs on two AA batteries, although you can choose to add a Flip Video rechargeable battery pack to extend the battery life for up to two hours.
It has the same 2x digital zoom as the two-hour model, 720 p in HD, 30 frames per second;

It comes with 4 gigabytes of built-in
An hour of memory in HD video shooting.
MinoHD, 8 GB, 2 hours, $40. The cute MinoHD masks its small size with a two-hour HD video recording capability, 60 frames per second, and the image is stable.
While it doesn't have a FlipPort, other attachments like the microphone don't have them when some accessories work with it.

After shooting for half an hour, it also has twice the digital zoom of the larger siblings.
It can also be connected to hd TV to watch video production.
MinoHD, 4 GB, 1 hour, 60 fps is also $190, with image stabilization, which has more expensive MinoHD, except that 4 gb of memory allows only one hour of recording time.
