I can't tell you how many people there are and when I tell them I have a teenager they say "Wow it must be hard" or "good luck you need it"
I don't care. I like having teenagers. I really do.
I still remember my life when I was a teenager.
I remember when I was honest with my parents, when I was dishonest.
I remember all the things I had my parents go through.
Believe me growing up in a family of five, you go home when the street lights up and we have enough time for our parents to go through hell.
I know my kids, or at least one of them, will do the same to me, . . . . . . I still like having teenagers. So why you ask?

I don't have to watch Barney anymore.
They can make their own lunch or go hungry.
Their choice is not mine. 3.
When I was 16, my car pool duties were cut by half. 4.
It's so interesting to play with them.
If they don't do their chorus, they are actually worried about being banned.
I don't need to pay for the nanny anymore.
Their opinions and determination are strong. I respect that. 8.
I see that what I create can have a purpose in this world.
Threatening to take their phone is almost guaranteed I get whatever I want. 10.
No matter how independent they become or how mature they claim to be, I will always remember that they are the first to take away from my children, and none of the teenagers will take them away.
