A Swiss company called Kyburz has launched a light, full
Electric sports car for high
Performance driven.
Called eRod, this sports car is reminiscent of Ariel Atom because it has a tubular frame, a composite body panel, a pair of bucket seats, and nothing else.
The motor located behind the seat rotates the rear wheel and the battery pack runs down the center of the car.
While eRod looks like it's designed specifically for the track, it's totally Street Legal
At least in Switzerland. Want one?
There are three models to choose from: eRod Basic, eRod Fun, and eRod Race.
The basic model uses a 10 kWh battery pack with a charging time of about 6 hours.
It has a range of only 40 miles, and it has a range of only 60 miles.
