Ford rolling out Focus Electric - li ion battery cell

The new 2012 Ford Fox electric hatchback has already started with the automaker, and the first car will soon be sold to dealers in the original launch areas of New York and California.
While New York, Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco will get cars first, they will be available in Houston and Austin and several other markets in 2012;
Other parts of the country, including San Antonio, will begin in 2013.
