I have been asked many times to provide a flexible, compact, easy-to-charge battery pack solution for the ESP8266 module.
After testing many different battery configurations and charging circuits, from simple AA batteries to the CR2032 stack, I think I found the best battery from all the desired angles :-
Widely used battery pack-
Simple charging circuit
USB compatible-
Battery Protection-
Enough power to run for a few days
What we need: Li-
Ion battery charger/monitor module for this battery pack solution is based on TP4056 1A independent linear Li-
Lon battery charger with thermal adjustment chip.
TP4056 is a complete constant-
Current/constant-
Voltage linear charger for single-cell lithium batteryion batteries.
The SOP package of the Tp4056 and the low number of external components make it ideal for portable applications.
In addition, the TP4056 can work in USB and wall adapters.
Because of the internal PMOSFET structure, the diode is not required to be blocked and the negative charge current circuit is prevented.
The thermal feedback adjusts the charging current to limit the mold temperature during high power operation or high ambient temperature.
The charging voltage is fixed at 4.
2 v, the charging current can be programmed externally with a single resistor.
After reaching the final floating voltage, the TP4056 automatically terminates the charging cycle when the charging current drops to 1/10 of the programmed value.
Other features of the TP4056 include a current monitor, under-voltage locking, automatic charging, and two status pins to indicate the presence of charge termination and input voltage.
Features: see TP4056 datasheet TP4056 with DW01-for more details-

G has the accuracy of the overcharge detection voltage of ± 50 mV, ensuring the safety and full use of charging.
In addition, a very low standby current consumes very little current from the battery during storage.
Features: complete the battery protection switch using the 8205A Mosfet.
ML8205A provides excellent RDS with advanced trbench technology (ON)
Operation of low gate charge and low gate voltage to 2. 5V.
This device is suitable for battery protection or other switch applications. DW01-
The G datasheet 8205A Mosfet dataset can be seen from the quick demo here that there is a battery powered project that is very easy to run for a few days and can be easily charged from a USB port, a USB charger, and even a solar panel.
