But as we have heard, the industry is facing enormous challenges.
If we don't do it right, we will lose a lot of advanced manufacturing jobs with high salaries. Forever.
By encouraging demand policies, the government can do more in this regard. George W.
Bush created tax incentives for SUVs, and we should extend tax incentives for electric vehicles.
We need to make tax credits for these early electric vehicles until the price of making electric vehicles drops to the price of making regular internal combustion engines.
