The biggest expansion of Destiny has come out so far, GameCentral has started to play, but is there enough new features to justify the price at ten o'clock A. M. today, the king who was taken away will
This is the third expansion package for the game, but the largest, most expensive, and the only one sold as a boxed copy (
As the "legendary version" bundled with the main game ").
This has also caused more debate and debate in this year's game than any other game.
We can't make a comment yet considering the release time, but we were playing games most of last night and can tell you . . . . . . This is definitely fate.
Considering that the new raid of the King who was taken away will not begin until Friday the 18 th, we will wait until after we have played to make an actual review.
Developer Bungie doesn't necessarily keep the rest of the game secret, but no one can play properly until the server is up.
In the launch event of the game, although they do have some new strikes that can be done on the internal server, there is also the crucble competitive mode.
If you 've been playing the game last week, though you 've had a chance to see the new crucble content.
Bungie opened them last week as part of the free, though they will be closed again today if you don't own the king that was taken away. (
So, if you read this in the early hours of the morning, you will have time to check it out before ten o'clock A. M. )
This includes all seven (
8 of the PlayStation version)
In the new crucble map, some are set up on the new enemy dreadnought ship, where many story missions are carried out.
There are two new modes of competition: one is a game capture flag like Rift, and the other is a game called Mayhem, where the cooldown of your special abilities
Bungie hasn't let anyone play with any story quests yet, and we don't know exactly how much, but as ever, the plot seems simple: a new bad guy named Rice X is ready to destroy the Guardian, in retaliation for the killing of his son Crota in early expansion.
Because he wanted to destroy the entire solar system, all the factions of the game were involved, and the strike we played was characterized by the cabal's attempt to blow up the dreadnought-and half of the system itself.
There are three (
4 on the PlayStation
There was a new blow on the occupied King, and the one we were going to play was called the Shield brother.
For those who are not active, it may not be much different from the rest of fate, but the new fearless location is definitely new.
However, this is a fairly common spaceship interior, and for lack of lighting, the rice X did not keep up with his electricity bill.
But with regard to fate, we are sure that this has pushed all the arguments to a large extent, and when you break it down or describe it in detail, it really doesn't sound very impressive.
But even though we did our best to remain cynical, just a few minutes of familiarity with the game loop was enough to get us stuck again.
It's not necessarily a compliment, like any addiction, there's an unconscious automatic behavior to play the game, but we can't pretend we don't like it.
Since this is a demo instead of using a live server, we have to use
Create the role to play.
While this is not as big a lie as it sounds, because the king taken away will bring a "spark" that will immediately lift you to level 25-to make sure you are high enough, you can complete the story task immediately.
We finally became a senior Titan with a jade rabbit exotic reconnaissance rifle (
We were originally a warlock, but after a brief argument about which is the worst option, if you can't be a hunter, we exchanged views with other players).
One of the main attractions of the King being taken away is that it completely changes the way the leveling works, ignores the light level of your armor, and establishes a simpler level 40 cap.
The level of your light will still be recorded, but it will now increase the damage caused by your weapon.
This is at the heart of many fans' concerns about expansion, as they fear that all their efforts in character and gear may now be eliminated.
Although it also takes time to see how reasonable their concerns are.
Another key feature of King is that each of the three main classes has a new subclass.
These all have their own unique skill tree and new special abilities.
The Hunter's night raiders lit a magical anchor, slowing down the stagnation of a group of enemies, while The Warlock's storm Summoner lit the Emperor Palpatine lightning from his fingertips.
It almost made us regret changing it, but the Titan's broken solar Hammer does have a huge burning hammer-which is cool too.
The cabal is the main enemy of the strike, and their chubby Warhammer 40 k space suit and gun worship have made them one of the toughest and most interesting factions in the game.
They brought in a giant hovering giant Gelia tank as a middle
Boss, but all of them
I have seen foot enemies before.
Some of the soldiers who were taken away have a very brief appearance, but since their shtick is a damaged version of what they are now living creatures, they immediately face the risk of being compared to the palette --
Swap enemies from some old arcadeup.
They do have new capabilities, like firing lasers from their shields, but in fact, the time they went on strike was too short and we didn't have much chance to test how New they looked.
However, according to Bungie, the new attack will be characterized by random enemies and spawn points, so we may just have good luck/bad luck.
The strike was short, no more than 30 minutes, but it did end with a better boss battle we saw from fate.
Finally, the nominal Shield brother appeared, one with a huge mortar on his back and the other with a set of rockets --
He used to drive the power wings of the ground.
They are still bullet sponges, but at least they are more flexible and responsive than other bosses, and with the last bad guy down we can't help but feel that all the complaints about fate are gone.
This does not mean that these complaints are not as effective as before, and simply reading the King who was taken away will have to work very hard to justify its extremely high price. (
Another reasonable complaint from fans is that buying a legendary version is more valuable than being a king himself).
However, given the hundreds of hours many fans put into the game, usually thousands of hours, it's hard to pay for any of them.
In fact, it is almost as difficult as stopping the game.
