Coast builder director Mitch Butler won the HIA award for this energy-efficient home in Caloundra Golden Beach.
Source: Australian News Corp. from a grass lane to the latest solar battery pack, the home of the Sunshine Coast is the epitome of environmental design. The two-
Bedroom Golden Beach House is the second house built by Coast building director Mitch Butler in accordance with HIA's greensmatt standard and won the Queensland greensmatt Energy Efficiency Award last year.
Mr. Butler said that the design of the house was suitable for its environment and neighborhood, and there was a garage behind the house as a temperature buffer.
"The wires do not produce any gas, the raf sub is made of fiberglass composites and the lanes are made of grass," he said . ".
"There are induction cooker countertops, bamboo countertops, and no lights need to be turned on during the day.
"Since we recycle most of the buildings, the roof design has a 28 degree pitch so it doesn't fall off in the cyclone, so the waste of the building is minimal.
"Mr Butler said the latest environmental protection technology was also used at home, including off-site
Power grid battery pack like microwave oven size.
"Energy-saving housing is a market segment --
There is nothing else like them, and this is the way the House should go in the future, "he said.
Michael Roberts, assistant director of Butler program and manager of greensmat, said Mr Butler's customization
Building houses is a microcosm of energy efficiency.
"The property raises energy efficiency to a new level at affordable prices," he said . ".
"It creates new building benchmarks with polymer structural materials
Grid solar technology, tilted ceilings that reflect light, careful site orientation, good location of windows, and significant thermal quality that provides natural light, heating and cooling throughout the year.
"The project is currently operating for the HIA National greensmat Award, which will be held in September 6.
