Chris Como, cnn anchor: too many shows are still intact, while giving too many sanctions relief to iron.
In response, President Obama said,S.
Diplomacy cannot be closed.
CNN anchor kate bolduan: The United States and Afghanistan are deadlocked this morning and the White House has issued an ultimatum to President Karzai.
S. National Security Adviser Susan Rice has asked him to sign a security agreement or the United States will face a full withdrawal. S.
Next year's troops
But so far, Karzai has refused to agree to the deal unless the United States agrees. S.
He was assured that American military personnel would no longer conduct a home search.
Afghan elders have urged Karzai to sign the agreement now.
Michelle Pereira, cnn anchor: a potential environmental night is happening in Iowa.
A tug carrying 100,000 gallons of oil fell into the Mississippi River after hitting an object in the water.
The Coast Guard has shut down a river near the city community of Le Clare in Iowa in response to the oil spill.
Nine crew members on board arrived safely and the accident is currently under investigation.
CUOMO: Well, it's the storm of Thanksgiving now and hopefully it won't be called the storm, but it's moving in that direction.
Thanksgiving trip is a mess.
We know this for sure.
The Midwest has gone through the worst.
There are more traffic accidents than we think, some of which are fatal.
Take a look at this video, Pittsburgh is snowing and should be beautiful, but it won't be when it disturbs the trip.
Thanks to the fact that w was filming this morning.
Now the East Coast is preparing for heavy rain, strong winds, maybe some snow.
We started with meteorologist Indra Petersons.
What do we see when it moves?
Is there any chance of hope
AMS meteorologist indra petersons: If you are really far west.
As the system continues to move along the East Coast and collide with other systems from Canada, we have certainly seen significant changes.
We 've seen snow in the northeast, seen some icy conditions go into Virginia and North Carolina, and of course there's heavy rain in the South, which is just a precursor to the deterioration we expect to see, because we do it all day. (Start Video)
Petersons: a huge winter storm that killed at least 12 people and hundreds of accidents will bring heavy rain, snow, sleet, the busiest travel week of the year, and strong winds blow to most parts of the East Coast.
Frustrated travelers have begun to feel the chain reaction of this storm system, with delays and cancellations at some of the country's busiest airports.
Not just planes.
A balloon flying higher than life on the Macy's Thanksgiving parade may be suspended.
If sustained winds exceed 23 miles an hour, huge inflatable balloons cannot fly because officials fear their controllers will not be able to control them.
New York City police chief Ray Kelly: We assigned a police officer for each balloon.
They can drop all the way down to the ground or decide not to drive them.
Peterson: At 1997, the fierce wind blows six-
The story in the Hat balloon the tall cat goes straight into the street lamp.
The debris fell in the crowd below, and an audience was seriously injured.
The massive storm system swept across the country, bringing local flooding in Arizona, heavy snow in Colorado and New Mexico.
Gusts over 50 miles per hour create a dizzying state of affairs.
Parts of Oklahoma are about 1 feet thick, while heavy rain in Arkansas has caused snow to pile up on a bridge.
Unidentified male: The road is very smooth and I have seen a lot of accidents.
Peterson: The relentless storm complicated millions of Thanksgiving travel plans, and freezing rain made driving dangerous. (END VIDEOTAPE)
This is what we expect in the next 48 hours.
You see, all the heavy rain comes from the southeast.
Find Three to 5 inch heavy rain.
Look at the heavy snow, even more than 1 feet, and expect snow, especially near the lake, to gradually decrease even in Kentucky and Tennessee.
Let's take it every day.
It is so important for all our travel problems.
We have already talked about the heavy rain.
At present, it is snowing in the northeast, and this will change as the warm air continues to flow from the south.
We saw it turn into rain.
On the back of it we will see the heaviest snow.
Tonight to tomorrow morning, Wednesday morning, we are talking about the biggest rain and snow and the strongest wind, so this is the hardest time to travel.
As you walk all Wednesday, things begin to decrease gradually.
You noticed that the system began to move in the northeast.
Things seem to be calming down from behind.
Unfortunately, we will still talk about strong winds even on Thanksgiving Day.
We will still talk about strong winds even if the system is moving.
The first low we see is the strong southeast wind.
Throughout the afternoon, we saw the wind moving northeast.
Kate, we will also discuss more travel delays in the northeast.
You're right, Indra.
Thank you very much.
As Indra is talking about potential travel delays, but we have canceled hundreds of flights due to the storm, and of course we expect more travel delays.
Mark Gale, CEO of Philadelphia International Airport, joins us to find out what travelers should expect and what the airport is doing to relieve some stress and pain, and I think you can say that.
Thank you for coming.
Mark Gale, CEO of Philadelphia International Airport: Thank you, Kate, welcome to Philadelphia.
Thank you very much. good morning.
This morning, when our audience is ready to go to the airport, can you give them any good news?
Gail: Well, this is definitely a Super Bowl if you want, as we are preparing for the heaviest travel time of the year.
Unfortunately, Mother Nature will be involved.
I can say that we are keeping a close eye on this for Philadelphia and many other airports.
A few weeks ago, we started coordinating with all of our stakeholders, airlines, the Transportation Safety Administration, the FAA to prepare for this week's travel time, actually by early next week.
For us, the upcoming weather on the east coast, this normal Easter actually causes significant damage.
But we do think that in any case we have a great opportunity in Philadelphia to get most of our business done smoothly.
It will be tough tomorrow morning.
But with tomorrow and Thanksgiving, we hope to bounce back.
BOLDUAN: So, as our meteorologist Indra Petersons points out, you look forward to the tough weather and tomorrow will be a tough day.
As far as air passengers are concerned, what do you expect?
What will Philadelphia see?
Gail: today, tomorrow and Sunday are the heaviest days of our year and we usually see our heaviest loads.
Our traffic load will range from 15 to 25%.
We expect more than 100,000 visitors to pass the facility on Sunday.
Of course, as has been reported, the weather will cause delays and will be canceled in some cases.
I think the good news is that some American AirlinesS.
The American Airlines, Delta Airlines that we 've heard have begun to loosen some of their change policies, hoping that some travelers, if they can, will take advantage of changing their travel arrangements to get out of town faster, give them more chance to get to their destination in order to be able to spend time with their families.
But we will keep a close eye on the incident and try to communicate with passengers through our website, Twitter, and keep close contact with our airlines to see things like today, tomorrow and the weekend, what changes are happening every minute.
BOLDUAN: Twitter, this is definitely one of the situations where Twitter can be used to quickly communicate information to air travelers.
We know that from the point of view of flights and trying to get out of the airport, ice and strong winds will be the challenge there.
What challenges do you face in terms of airport operations?
Gail: Well, of course, I appreciate it very much, looking back on our history, my early career, we had a snowstorm on Thanksgiving Day in 1989, which really got in the way of things.
But I think we can cope with it all day if it rains.
We will be at our checkpoints, the entire facility, maintenance personnel, additional safety and operations, and police personnel to ensure that our travellers are well looked after, and help them actually navigate and through our facilities.
Obviously, passengers can help us if they plan their trip in advance.
This is a time of year when there is a lot of pressure.
You know, at any time during the holiday trip, if they take a few minutes to plan a trip to the airport, know how they want to get to the airport, know where they want to park, and if the parking lot is full, there is a backup that knows from which terminal their airline takes off, is ready to go to the airport, knows some procedures for carrying ID cards and boarding passes, and you can go through the security checkpoint.
Be familiar with some regulations in order to be able to pass the security checkpoint.
You can surf the Internet on any Airport website, our website is www. phl. org.
You can visit TSA's website on www. tso.
Government and inspection rules to understand what needs to be noted when you pass the security checkpoint.
Leave yourself enough time, more time than you think, to be able to get to the airport with a crowded crowd and get through security.
The worst case scenario is that you are on the other side of safety and in Philadelphia you can enjoy a lot of food and shops.
If you want to get ready for the Thanksgiving turkey test, you can enjoy a delicious Philadelphia cheese steak.
This is the worst possible situation there.
We hope that everyone, not only through Philadelphia, but also through many other airports, will be able to minimize those that have not arrived there.
BOLDUAN: as the ultimate airport insider, I think this is a good suggestion that people can take with them when they travel today.
Mark Gale, CEO of Philadelphia International Airport, thank you very much.
Good luck in the next few days.
Nice to meet you.
Thanks, Kate.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone
BOLDUAN: Thank you.
Thank you very much.

Cuomo: just say it now, because we'll give you a break.
When we come back on a new day, what is the true story of Obamacare?
Is it affordable care or a nightmare?
We are looking at two test cases internally and you should really see these two test cases when forming a point of view.
In addition, CNN reported exclusively that James Ray, once a famous motivational speaker, is now a former

Welcome back to a new day.
Affordable Medical rollout is very bad, but what is the reality of the law?
Is Obamacare a success, or just a failure?
We would like to have a look at the situation on both sides.
We'll start with CNN's Miguel Marquez in Los Angeles. (Start Video)
Miguel Marquez, cnn correspondent: Kate and Justin Reaper are not insured today.
January 1 will change.
Kate leeper, a California insurance company: I recently changed jobs, so I did a contract position where there was no benefit.
Marquez: to keep up with the previous insurance, it costs $1,500 a month, which is too expensive.
She tried private insurance but the application process was tedious.
Do you want to fill in the documents? K.
LEEPER: not just paperwork, but trying to remember every doctor you 've seen in the past year, and every surgery or major problem you 've had over the last decade.
Marquez: Another question is 35-year-olds, uber-
Health writer actor stunt actor Justin
Are you a vegetarian?
Justin leeper, a California insurance company: Yes, no meat, no dairy products, no coffee, no soda, no alcohol, no drugs, four workouts a week.
Marquez: He's a little mysterious. the doctor can't confirm his condition yet. J.
LEEPER: it's usually enough for them to say, "No, we can't cover you.
So they landed on the California cover.
Welcome to California.
Marquez: There are now 10,000 California people signing up every day. K.
LEEPER: I don't need to know a lot.
I just entered some basic information, our social insurance number, our date of birth.
MARQUEZ: The advertising site offers them 30 insurance options.
How much do you spend? K.
LEEPER: Yes, about $500 a month, less than that.
Marquez: you two. K.
LEEPER: for both of us.
Actual quote: $467.
How does it feel to know that you are covered? K.
This is a relief.
Marquez: now, waiting for their first bill, they say the real test of Obamacare, the day they need to use it. (END VIDEOTAPE)
Okay. now we want to see the other side.
We're staying in California. Why?
Well, they are a big state and they have made a great success in online apps.
As you have heard, there are now 10,000 people signing up every day.
So, what is the experience of those who sign up?
Many patients and their doctors are not happy with these changes.
CNN's Kathy Vivian reports on this. (Start Video)
Handyman Tom Harris: I think it's a good idea.
CNN reporter Kathy Vivian (voice-over)
Tom Harris is 62. year-old self-
Hired handy people with high hopes for Obamacare.
Harris: My expectation is that it will actually enhance my existing health care plan. WIAN: (on-camera)
: How is your situation so far?
Harris: that's not the case.
I was told that my plan would end by the end of December.
I was surprised. WIAN (voice-over)
Harris has a weak allergy.
Doctor, he's looking at an expert.
Los Angeles's famous Cedar Sinai Medical Center, Robert atchich, will not have his bills up until at least January 1.
Harris: I know if I go to see him, it's all online, and it doesn't apply to my deductible.
So it's really off the net.
It's almost on another track.
WIAN: Harris's current health insurance company's new plan to comply with Obamacare will actually cost him less than $5 a month, but four of Eitches and Harris's five doctors
Allergy expert robert eitches, MD: I asked the patient to come to me and say, "Please do whatever you need to do because I don't know if I can come back to see you after December 31.
"WIAN: Eitches said that 10% of his patients are now either finding a new doctor or paying high fees --of-pocket costs.
Harris: it's numb.
Its mind is numb.
Vivian: even a doctor. Eitches.
Less than six weeks before Obamacare came into effect, he still had no idea what insurance plans, if any, he would accept ).
He's stopped taking medical insurance.
EITCHES: To be honest, what I might think of is that I didn't buy any insurance at all.
I have a lot of patients who have seen me for more than 20 years and we have connections.
It will be sad to lose these patients.
WIAN: for Harris, Obamacare means fewer options and headaches that the president apologizes for not being able to treat.
Harris: that's all.
Of course I wish he had a good life, but I found myself in the environment, and I found myself in the dynamic, and it was a real struggle. (END VIDEOTAPE)
CUOMO: of course, the problem is that we will hear similar stories from both sides as the law continues to take effect.
Therefore, we will continue to monitor the impact and inform you of the issues and benefits when problems arise.
That's our job. All right?
Mich, give it to you.
PEREIRA: Well, I 'd like to do a little warning nerd alert here, because I want to show you a really cool site in the sky where we can participate: comet Eisen rushed to the sun at 248 miles per second.
This is the projection of the road it may take.
The comet is expected to go around the Sun slingshot on Thanksgiving Day.
Now, whether it can survive in the sun is a problem.
NASA says the tail may actually be pulled down by Sun particles, or, as we can see in this animation ---
As we can see in this animation-
As we can see in this animation, it can cook frozen ice grains and destroy them completely.
Why should we care?
Here comes the problem.
It comes from the edge of space.
This is a big deal.
It has taken 5.
5 million years to reach us.
If it really goes around the sun, we can easily see it with the naked eye.
This is a very cool factor. Guys?
Serious cool factor.
A special gift for everyone on Thanksgiving Day.
Thank you, mikera.
Pereira: You're welcome.
BOLDUAN: at the next stop of "New Day", self
Help master James Ray to serve his sentence after three people died on his watch.
Now he said it.
Exclusive interviews coming soon.
CUOMO: also, for millions of you, the race is on the way out of town before the weather stops you.
The airport on the East Coast is trying to transport passengers for Thanksgiving.
We will tell you what you need to know. (
Business break)
Welcome back to "New Day ".
Let's take a look at the stories that are making news.
The East Coast is ready for the cold weather, which has swept the rest of the country, making Thanksgiving travel a mess.
Hundreds of traffic accidents are reported.
So far, the storm has killed at least 12 people.
Hundreds of flights have been canceled and many of the 39 million people who are expected to drive will have smooth roads.
The temperature is also expected to remain cold throughout the holiday.
President Obama spoke on an international nuclear deal with Iran.
In a speech on immigration in San Francisco, President Obama defended the agreement and responded to critics who attacked it, saying it was a mistake.
President Obama insists the nuclear deal is progressing, adding that bluffing could be a simple political solution, but it will not help promote security.
In that speech on immigration, the president was interrupted by protesters. (Start Video Editing)

The president allowed them to stay in the hall and said he respected their enthusiasm, but added that it was up to Congress to pass a fair immigration bill.
The controversial diabetes drug vindia has been widely approved
FDA promotes use.
Vindia is believed to increase the risk of heart attacks and other cardiovascular diseases.
But federal regulators said Monday the drug is no more dangerous than other diabetes drugs.
The FDA says users of vindia will be able to access the drug through regular pharmacies.
Perhaps because of the desire for yogurt, a deer crashed in from the window of a store in Holmdel, New Jersey.
The owner and his daughter just closed the door the day the deer broke in.
They can't believe what they saw.
The deer apparently ran for a few minutes, and before he finally ran empty, he checked out the various toppings in the toppings barpawed.
Como: very strange.
I thought he was lost and couldn't find a way out.
There is no GPS on those antlers.
Who knows he's checking the toppings? (CROSSTALK)
We are doing this. All right.
An update to a story we focus on-
It happened a few years ago.
But we have been following for a long time. Self-
Help master James Ray said he was still shocked after a tragic incident at the sweat lodge in northern Arizona in 2009.
You will remember that three of his faithful followers died in a cleaning ceremony and witnesses said Ray did not save them.
Now he breaks his silence in prison.
Zoraida Sambolin, the early starting line anchor, tells the story here.
Good morning, Z.
Zoraida sambolin, cnn anchor: Good morning, everyone.
James Ray sold the secret to life and made a fortune.
But he spent 20 months in prison because he was convicted of manslaughter in the tragedy that took place in his sweat hut, resulting in three controversial deaths.
So for the first time in an exclusive interview with CNN's Pierce Morgan, we heard about him after he was released from prison. (Start Video)
James Ray.

This is my activity.
This is my cabin.
I'm in charge.
I am the captain of this ship.
I must take responsibility for this.
SAMBOLIN: what he calls a Spiritual Warrior weekend, which ends up in a ceremonial sauna, should be a symbol of cleanliness and rebirth.
But the high temperature of up to 120 degrees has caused tragedy.
Two people are breathing.
No pulse.
Operator: they didn't breathe.
Woman: Yes.
Operator: OK, is this the result of the shooting?
Woman: No, this is a sweat hut.
SAMBOLIN: James Ray, who was convicted of manslaughter on 2011, claimed he ignored the allegations that participants had collapsed, vomited and screamed for help.
I don't see these things.
These things happened outside the cabin.
I don't know, and nobody knows that someone is dying. -
A state of life and death.
SAMBOLIN: But prosecutors even think Ray encouraged participants to go back to the deadly sauna room against their own instincts.
We drive every 15 minutes. -
Or nearby--
We open the flaps and people are free to leave and come and go.
Some people want to exit quickly, one of the things I told them in the settings is to go out clockwise and carefully because obviously there is a hot rock pit in the center.
SAMBOLIN: the punitive heat from aquatic products poured on hot rock pits allowed 21 people to overcome the difficulty of rushing for help.
Ray: I already have the system. The system is broken.
SAMBOLIN: now a free man who doesn't rule out going back to himself
But this time, more humble than ever.
Am I arrogant? Yes.
People all over the world are flying and asking me how I can live a better life.
It will often come to your head.
You tend to think you 've got all the answers. (END VIDEOTAPE)SAMBOLIN (on-camera)
Ray also said he lost everything because of the tragedy.
If he really comes back to himself
He insisted that he had no intention of attending another ceremony at the sweat cottage again.
I know he said he wanted to return to the business, but the victim's family said, "We will keep an eye on you because that's exactly where we don't want you back . ".
BOLDUAN: Again, it does surprise you, even if he wants to get back here, he says, people used to fly around the world for his help.
But after such an open, very tragic man has fallen out of favor from the base where he is, because so many people love him and find him, how can he do so.
SAMBORIN: Well, he was very sorry in piers's interview.
And, you know, but this is the one who did the best in the New York Times --seller list.
He was recognized by Oprah Winfrey, so, you know, he wanted to re-invent himself.
Let's see what happens.
Como: Thank you, Z.
Thank you, zeleda.
CUOMO: a "New Day" is coming, the amazing new allegations in the rape case in Steubenville, Ohio.
The case shocked a community and became national news, and now Ohio Attorney General Mike Deo is delivering on the promise of accountability.
We will tell you what he's doing.
BOLDUAN: How long will the weather be delayed?
This is a question that millions of people are asking when trying to get to the airport as early as possible.
Zoraida is now checking her departure time.
We will update. ph)
