The hard wait for the IPhone to land on Verizon is finally over!A few years later, there were rumors almost every month, and even a few very serious rumors that the iPhone 4 could finally get consumers who love the iPhone/Apple to buy the phone they 've been waiting. Before Apple gave up its AT&T network exclusivity, it took over four generations of the iPhone, with only two top-level data currently providing iPhones on the network. It launched in February. You can book on the 9 th and wait in line on the 13 th.Why should Apple wait so long?No one knows for sure, but ATT is definitely a sweet deal to attract Apple to only allow their breakthrough iPhone to run on their network.Recently, some information shows that Apple's profit per iPhone is about $197.So far, they have sold more than 70 million.Did waiting so long hurt Apple in the long run?In my opinion, Apple only hurt itself by doing exclusive deals with ATT.They hurt themselves because everyone else on the other phone network wants an iPhone, over a year after the iPhone was released and released, there's nothing closer than it's left a huge open and easy hole for a company to fill with a viable competitive operating system, so they can work with the IPhone.Google stepped up its pace and created a mobile operating system that is basically the same as Apple's iOS, which Google handed over to all handset manufacturers, these manufacturers can't wait to create a phone to work with the iPhone.A few years later, the Android operating system has surpassed iOS in the number of phones sold.If Apple releases the iPhone on ATT, a large portion of verizon's and at least Sprint's who now have Android phones will buy the iPhone because there is no other option.Google's operating system will not become the dominant mobile operating system as it is now.Imagine that if the iPhone were to be released on all mobile networks, the number of people using the iPhone would be several times more than it is now.Apple's iphone sales are clearly still shocking. They make billions of dollars worldwide and I'm sure they won't cry or worry too much about anything they do.We may or may never know that other factors will convince Apple to stick to ATT only. Now that the iPhone 4 is on Verizon, the next generation of Android phones has been released and is actually better than the latest generation of iPhones. The IPhone 4 has a 1 GHz processor that can shoot 720 p videos and has no ability to output videos to other devices. The new Droid Bionic and Asteck phones feature dual-core 1 GHz processors, 1080 p video recording and HDMI output to the TV.These are the next generation of smartphones that will be released in the spring of 2011.Does the next iPhone meet these specifications? Will the next iPhone be released on Verizon?Ultimately, for whatever reason, at least everyone who insists on using Verizon can now enjoy the iPhone 4 in all it glory.Don't forget to pick up the Verizon iPhone 4 case.Todd Lipp is a technology enthusiast and music lover
