build a battery pack using pvc pipes  -  tubular gel battery

Make D-using 1 1/4 PVC pipe-
Battery pack of 7.

This is a nice tubular battery pack.
This is done in the tech store, visit the tech store.
WsPVC tube, 1 1/4 "x 60 cm test plug-in 6 D-in lengh1 1/4" PVC tube caps1 1/4-
Battery Wires (~20 gauge)

I use the negative end for both and I find a better connection in spring)
Another epoxy will stick to pvc metal wood. .

Cut the PVC pipe into 2x23 cm pieces.
If there is a rough edge inside, polish it with sand.
You should have a spare one. you will use it later. -
Place the lid on the PVC tube until it is opened and on 1 PVC tube.
Mark a point on the pipe, right at the seam at the end of the lid. -
Drill holes on this with a drill.
The hole should be larger than the thickness of the wire so that the wire can pass through. -
You can take off your hat.
If you need help pulling it down, slide a battery in the tube and bounce up and down so it falls on the inside of the lid several times.
This should take off the hat). -
Place the tube so that a hole faces the ceiling and a hole faces the wall in the distance (
That is, the holes point to 90 degrees each other). -
Place the test plug next to the PVC tube as if it was fully in place.
Mark a point at the seam inside the pipe (
Where they face each other).
Please look at the photos for reference. -
Drill a hole at each point.
Prepare the battery connection that will be made on the lid: weld the long wire to the two battery connection springs.
This will be the power cord and ground wire that extend from the battery.
If you like to use wires of different colors, that is, Red Black for power supply and ground, then make a red and a black. -
Polish the entire interior of the pvc cap. -
Bend the four corners of the square bracket slightly upwards and connect to the spring connected to the battery.
This will help it to be in place at the bottom on the inside of the hat. -
By applying epoxy to the inside of the lid and the back of the battery connection, connect the battery to the bottom of the lid. -
Put the joint down to the bottom of the cap and press hard. -Let it dry.
Attach the prepared two cap batteries to the PVC pipe. -
First, connect the wires that fall off the battery to the holes you cut at the Cap/pipe seam.
Feed from inside out. -
For permanent sealing, sprinkle sand on the outside of the PVC pipe, and when placed on the pipe, the cover will touch there.
Apply PVC cement to two surfaces on the inside of the cover and on the outside of the pipe. -
Slide the lid firmly along the way. -Let it dry. -
Cut a piece of wire around 6. -
In the hole where you cut the test plug, thread it from the inside of one tube to the outside, and then extend it through the outside of the other tube to the inside. -
Weld the battery to the end of a wire. -
Adjust the length so that the connection you just welded can come out through a battery tube of about half an inch. -
The tubes are parallel, the covers are flush with each other, and the unwelded wire ends come out of another pipe hole and cut about 3 inch from where the hole comes out, so it sticks out slightly from the tube. -
The soldering tin on the last battery is connected here. -
Now, your two pipes are connected into one unit.
If the battery is comfortable when you put it in the tube, you may have a hard time sliding them in and out.
If so, wrap a wire around the first battery you will enter the tube.
Wrap two ropes around it with transparent tape. -
Cut a rubber ring a little smaller than the inner diameter of the tube. -
Connect this epoxy to the battery. -Let it dry.
After completion, put the battery in the tube.
Connect them in series, so that the red one (positive)
Insert three batteries with nub (+)
Facing down, facing the pvc cap, and opposite in the other tube.
Put the spring rubber into the battery.
Place the test plug and test the voltage of the highlighted power supply and ground wire.
You should watch around 7. 2 volts.
Note: I use the flat connector on the front of the battery, but I found that the spring connector works better. -
At the end edge of 2x4, mark the center line through vertically.
Mark 3/8 on both sides. -
Flush the spare PVC sheet with the edge of 2x4 so that the low point touches the edge of the 3/8 mark and enters the corner of the wood. Trace this. -
Do the same thing in the lower half of the 2x4 edge. -
Use a reel saw or router to cut the circular part you just tracked, leaving you a piece of wood in the shape of an hourglass. -
When you try to install this flush device on the pipe, if it has air space, try to polish it down with a circular file. -
Install your pvc pipes on the wood between them, flush each other on the lid, and flush the pipes on the wood. -
Apply epoxy sealant on each surface where the pipes are flush and stick them together.
Clip them in place. -
Apply the filler to the hole where the wire is protruding.
Note: I use three pipes because my app works as ballast at the bottom of the ship and I fill a pipe with ballast. Let it dry.
Now you have a tubular torpedo. 2V D-
