How to configure a MeritSun solar system for my home?

2020-03-31

The worldwide environmental pollution and energy shortage force people to work harder to find and develop new energy. It’s a long searching history before Photovoltaic power generation, which is one of the best renewable energy

With the development of solar energy technology, solar system has become a very widely used energy supply system which has becoming an essential part of life. More and more people are going to have their own solar systems. MeritSun is the most popular brand Wall Mounted Battery and have been well deployed in over 3,879,369 families and house in the world with the best quality products, integrity and professional service.

Thailand is close to the equator, sunshine time is more than 1800 hours / year, and the central and northeast parts are more than 1850 hours / year. The conditions are very conducive to the development of solar photovoltaic industry. But Thailand relies on natural gas for power generation in traditional, resources are exhausted and import prices are rising now. Although the government wants to reduce the proportion of natural gas use through nuclear power generation, it rebounds at home and turns to expand renewable energy. In 2019, the purchase price subsidy was implemented.

People in Thailand are now starting to install their own solar energy to help them reduce their electricity bills during the peak period. If there is surplus electricity, it can be sold to the grid. (User in Thailand just finished the installation of a MeritSun 10kwh Wall Mounted Battery system integrated with a 5kw inverter.)

MeritSun engineers are installing the MeritSun ESS Wall Mounted Battery for customers in Thailand)

What’s the solar system? And how to configure a suitable system?

Solar energy system can be divided into grid-tie, hybrid on/off grid and off grid systems. The main differences are as follows:

1. Grid-tie system means that photovoltaic power generation is converted into AC grid through inverter, which could power the AC load or sell power to grid directly.

2. Off grid system refers to that the electricity generated by photovoltaic will be stored in the battery, in the day time will be priority solar panel with battery to power to load,if no solar panel and battery voltage go down, generator or AC grid will be bypass to power the load or charge the battery.

3.  Hybrid on/off grid system is mainly designed for save electricity bills. The default working mode is when the sunshine is enough during the day, solar panel will priority supply power to load, and the extra power will charge the battery for back up,after that also has enough power,it can be sold to the grid(optional). When there is no solar panel, and also you can set battery/grid priority supplies power to the load.

MeritSun ESS Wall Mounted Battery with premium feature of MeritSun house made Smart BMS management function which can support more than 15pcs batteries just plug and play in parallel for expandable energy storage supplies. And its reliable performance and efficient compatible with worldwide brands of inverters.
